Our story: Neurodivergent Chick

Welcome to Neurodivergent Chick. This is where you'll discover our passion for empowering neurodivergent individuals to thrive. We believe in an approach that truly understands, supports, and celebrates the unique strengths of every brain. Join us to learn how we make a real difference, one personalized step at a time.

Why we started neurodivergent chick

Neurodivergent Chick was born from a clear need: new therapists often lack real-world practice, especially post-COVID. With eighteen years of one-on-one experience, including raising my own neurodivergent son (now twenty-eight), I understand the journey from the inside out. I navigated school and life with zero help—no early intervention, no coach. If I could do it alone, imagine the impact when we start early and offer the right support.

The proof is in the results: kids I support in schools now finish homework without fights, maintain routines at home, and genuinely enjoy showing up. Parents consistently tell me, “He’s calmer. She’s more confident.” We're here to bridge the gap and make a tangible difference.

Who we love helping most

Our heart has always been with adhd and autistic individuals—hands down. That's where we know we can make the biggest impact. We want them to wake up feeling genuinely good in their own skin, not "fixed" or "normal," but comfortable and confident in who they are.

We believe everyone deserves to walk into jobs, relationships, and life without apologizing for how their brain works. No hiding, just readiness for whatever comes next. It’s about empowerment, self-acceptance, and equipping them with the tools to thrive authentically.

What makes us different

Most tutoring or coaching services offer a one-size-fits-all approach—drill math, memorize facts, then move on. At Neurodivergent Chick, we don’t do that. We start with *you*: how your brain actually works, understanding adhd wiring, autistic patterns, and executive function quirks.

Then, we weave in real life: school assignments, home routines, social interactions. There are no scripts, and no "just try harder" mentality. Other services might teach skills; we teach *you*—with your unique strengths, at your own pace, and aligned with your personal goals. Because we’ve lived it, we don’t guess. We know what sticks.

"I felt seen and confident that I wasn't just getting another tutor. They truly understand what it means to make this work, offering steady support without judgment."
